As a congregation, we had our formal beginning on March 1, 1959, with a groundbreaking ceremony for our Fellowship Hall and Educational Wing. A few months later, on September 6, our first worship service was held in the newly completed Fellowship Hall. Our roots go back much further, however, to modest, but important first seeds of prayer and planning made by fellow disciples, in 1935. "Love Grows Here" took root from those early seeds, and today God's people are truly blest by that early vision
